Overview
At our May 13th benefit auction, we will conduct a wonderful vacation raffle!
- Only 100 tickets will be sold for $100 each, and the drawing will take place at the auction.
- The winner has the choice of one of three vacation packages featured below.
Raffle ticket buyers can purchase a raffle ticket online, by phone directly from Mission: Citizen (503-765-6867), or at the benefit auction, if there are tickets left at that time. At the time of ticket purchase, each buyer will be asked to identify which travel package they want if they were to win the raffle drawing. Raffle ticket buyers do not have to be present to win. The raffle winner will be notified and receive a gift certificate for their travel package via email. All raffle ticket buyers will be asked to give their email address and phone number as part of their ticket purchase and trip selection.
Package A: Puerto Aventuras (Value: $2,300)
Accommodations for 6 days/5 nights in a 2-bedroom oceanfront condo in Puerto Aventuras, Quintana Roo, Mexico, 65 km Southeast of Cancun, that sleeps 4-6 people. White sandy beaches, coral reefs, and vibrant multi-colored blue water await you and your guests at our fully self-contained resort community featuring fishing, diving, snorkeling, sailing, interactive dolphin experiences, restaurants, shops, a spa, Mayan ruins, golf, tennis, and much more!
Excursion Options
The package includes the buyer’s choice of one of the following excursions.
- One (1) day of bill fishing for six (6) persons, for big game fish such as blue and white marlin, sailfish, dorado, wahoo, tuna, and barracuda.
- An interactive dolphin experience for four (4) persons. Additional spots for this outing can be purchased.
- A one (1) day private van tour of Mayan ruins at Chichen Itza, Coba or Tulum.
Limitations and Expirations
- Excludes airfare, ground transport, meals, beverages, gratuities, park fees, and extra tours and outings beyond one of the aforementioned excursions.
- Must be used within 2 years of purchase date. No extensions.
- Package is not valid from December 18th through January 3rd for either year.
- Reservations offered on an “as available” basis at the time of contact.

Package B: Casa Comedia (Value: $3,600)
Enjoy a 7-day, 7-night stay in Cortona, Italy, a medieval Tuscan hill town situated two hours north of Rome and 1.5 hours south of Florence. Casa Comedia is a delightful 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment that sleeps 4 people very comfortably, situated in the historical center of this picturesque Etruscan village, on a lovely and very quiet “vicolo,” or walking alley. The apartment is just steps away from Via Nazionale, the main village shopping street, and Piazza Della Repubblica, the gathering place for people from all over the world.
The apartment is fully renovated and amenities are new and modern. Additionally, the kitchen features the original stone fireplace used centuries ago, and is fully updated with new appliances. The original terracotta floors and wooden beams give the apartment an authentic ambiance.
From Cortona’s ancient walls, the view of the valley below is one of the most spectacular in all of Italy, stretching out to Lake Trasimeno, the village of Montepulciano, and beyond. Package C: Golden Buddha in Bali (Value: $3,100)
Golden Buddha is a beautiful boutique resort on the tranquil eastern coast near Amed, Bali, famous for outstanding diving, snorkeling, and hiking. Located within the “authentic” Bali, the Golden Buddha features amazing natural beauty far away from tourist crowds. The resort offers beautifully landscaped gardens, water features, and fish ponds.
Your one-bedroom, air-conditioned cottage is furnished with locally made Balinese furniture and artwork, a king-size bed, and a twin bed. The cottage comfortably accommodates three people.
